I'm not very thrilled with this event, half my freinds don't want to play because it looks so lame, last years was way better everyone got on all there chars to check them out, this year is a failure compared to it. Why is there only male stick figures, honestly it is a bit sexist not to have any female stick figures at least. Anet should t least be able to represent the female gender even if it is a pathetic graphic like a stick figure. My personal opinoin is this was done last minute and without much thought. makes me think the budgets are being slashed , and it would have been easier to just reuse last years code which everyone enjoyed. For Future reference represent the female gender. Come on Equal rights, even for pixelated chars :P.

Dude, I own all 3 games AND the expension. I've bought character slots and the GotY edition to unlock the 3 special missions. (which I'm still pissed off about that they opened it up for people to buy.)

I LIKE and APPROVE of what they've done for April fools day. So I guess that means my money cancels out your's, eh? You want it, I don't. We've both paid for the game. Now grow a sense of humor and stop QQ'ing? ;D

We, who are enjoying the joke, are also paying cusotmers.

if they would of done the samething this year we would have a thread of people whining about anet doing the same thing every year so instead of whining enjoy the fact that anet has done something differnt with aprils fools day this year.

lol, I love the idea. At least they arent resorting to recycling the sex change day (although I wouldnt mind it as I missed it last year).

To the players complaining about YOU paying for YOUR game for YOUR serious time after YOU painstakingly bought the game from YOUR neighbourhood store or YOUR internet connection.... take a deep breath and exhale once April fools is over, its a game, and this is a harlmess practical joke which will be reverted to normal in less than 24 hours.

If you dont have the humor to play a game full of hidden double meanings and jokes.... go do something more amusing like YOUR tax returns (which YOU also paid for btw

)

You have to realize that the people who like the stickmen ALSO paid money to Anet, the way you are going on, sounds as if your $200-$300 is keeping the whole dam company afloat. Gotta go easy man, you're gonna burst a vessel in your forehead before noon if you stay that wound up. I have heard a good stiff drink and a dose of sunshine does wonders for that.

intersting reply when almost every other event they do is reused every year, with little or no changes added. My main point is that this is sexist, they should have both sexes represented.

Paying? ANet already has our money, they really don't have much obligation to keep us pleased.

Read the whole thread again....I believe it is mentioned numerous times at how fairness may be achieved by allowing it to only affect the willing.

I never suggested I was their only customer, I was merely making a factual statement that many of the younger generation have seen fit to complacently allow themselves to be used and walked on by many companies.

I am sure those who think the idea is a shitpot and those that loved the stickmen, if they have reasonable intelligence that is, would agree that a fair option is to make it voluntary. Like maybe how many things are in the game...food, drink, useage of certain items, etc.....

Not all of us are limited in scope of view or intelligence to find a simple first graders picture that appealing especially when being forced to look at it all day long while trying to enjoy something you paid good money for.

End of story. And to those that just don't get it, there's extra dogfood in the closet.

I think some people in this thread really need to take some timeout if being turned to a stick figure in a game for one day can cause them to throw a hissy fit. Maybe this update will do you some good in the long run?

Personally I think its great. Good job ANet! Made me, and all the other ppl currently doing /flute in LA European District 2 laugh.

Oh, but the stick figures are actually female! Remember, not all women are well-endowed; quite a few of them are flat chested.

And remember, you don't see a little "Something" hanging down between the stick figures legs, now do you? :P So if anything, ANet is sexest against men AND large-endowed women! But they love the flatties. <3

nice reply, however the stickfigure they using is one of the universal stick figures refering to male restrooms, ever notice that figure on a womens restroom, don't think so

Again [here's obviously one that just doesn't get it but sure can hop on a bandwagon fast enough].....I have just as much right to complain as you do to praise what they have done. Just because I don't agree doesn't make it a whine....did I accuse you of being a low-life ass-kisser? Just because you wantto publicly announce you "love" what they did?

See my point [I doubt the "you" will]. I should not have to not play because of what they did....again...it should have been made voluntary to be fair to all.
